The Society was formed in 1950, and for the first exhibitions in 1951 and 1952 photos were taken of places in the Hoylake Urban District which then included Hoylake, Meols, West Kirby, Newton, Grange, Caldy, Frankby, Greasby. Thurstaston and parts of Saughall Massie
The Prints from these first exhibitions have been preserved and digital copies have been made from some of them. As more digital copies have been made, then further images will be uploaded ro this gallery. Watch this space!
